Independence Day

Indian Independence Day was celebrated on 15 August. It is the National Day of India. Also known as 'I-Day', this public holiday marks the date in 1947, when India became an independent country.  Children sang patriotic songs and some cultural programs were organized on the occassion.  In this way we celebrated the spirit of independence.
